See the best attractions of Rome in just a single day of sightseeing! This unique and exclusive tour brings together all of the beauties of Rome.
Of Course, the first stop of the tour is the symbol of Rome – The Colosseum. The stunning Colosseum or the Flavian Amphitheatre is an imposing construction with almost 2000 years of history. It is also the largest amphitheater built during the Roman Empire.
Next, you will see the Roman Forum, also known by its Latin name “Forum Romanum”, the center of day-to-day life in Ancient Rome. Here you can see the remains of a lot of important temples, like the Temple of Saturn, Temple of Vesta, Temple of Antoninus Pius, and the most important attraction, Via Sacra (the ancient triumphal “sacred” road).
After the Roman Forum, you will go straight to the Palatine Hill, the first nucleus of the Roman Empire. It is also the most famous of the seven hills of Rome. From here, you will admire the views over the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus, where chariot races were held. It’s said that Romulus and Remus were found here by the she-wolf who kept them alive.
Vatican City is the last stop of the tour, where you will visit the Vatican Museums, the famous Sistine Chapel, and St.Peter’s Basilica. Inside the Vatican Museums, you will discover important works of art and sculpture, including some of the most important masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world. There are 54 galleries, or Salas, in the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel – the next stop of the tour. The Sistine Chapel with its ceiling decorated by Michelangelo is one of the most famous attractions on Earth. After the Sistine Chapel, you will get privileged access inside St.Peter’s Basilica, the grand centerpiece of the Vatican. Imagine walking inside the most massive church you’ve ever seen, filled with artwork from all the famous Italian artists you learned about in school. Walk through a side entrance, skipping the line, directly inside the most opulent church in the world. Once inside, admire masterpieces like Il Baldacchino, La Pieta, the statue of St. Peter, and more.
