This food tasting tour by sunset is one of the best private tours you can ever join. Starting from Via dei Fori Imperiali, you will discover the history of the most important emperors of Rome and the stories behind their greatness. Another thing you will discover on this stunning tour is the secret of the Mouth of Truth. Are you curious? Join us! The first stop of our tour will be Via dei Fori Imperiali, a must-see street in Rome. Here, your tour guide will show you the Forum of Trajan ( including Trajan’s Column), Forum of Augustus, and Forum of Nerva. Also, on one end of the street you have the Colosseum and on the other, the imposing Altare della Patria.

The next attraction of the tour is the Capitoline Hill, one of the 7 hills of Rome. In Piazza della Bocca della Verita you will see the famous Mouth of Truth, a marble mask that stands against the left wall of the portico of the Santa Maria in Cosmedin Church. See the Theatre of Marcellus, an ancient open-air theatre in Rome.

Largo di Torre Argentina is our next stop, a square in Rome with the remains of Pompey’s Theatre. Julius Caesar was assassinated in the Curia of Pompey, and the spot where he is believed to have been assassinated is in this square.

The famous Pantheon is the last stop of our tour. It is known as “The Temple of All Gods” and it is the best-preserved building of the Ancient Rome. Two kings of Italy are buried in the Pantheon: Vittorio Emanuele II and Umberto I, as well as Umberto’s Queen, Margherita. The Pantheon is in use as a Catholic church. After a full lesson of history, culture and architecture, we will taste the best Italian food!
