Rome is not only history, architecture and Christianity, but mystery and ghost… You will discover a famous ghost story right in front of Castel Sant’ Angelo, the haunting story of Beatrice Cenci. According to the legend, each year on the night before the anniversary of her death, the ghost of Beatrice comes back to haunt the bridge where she was executed. The next stop of the tour is Piazza Navona, where you will discover other famous ghost stories while you admire the ancient monuments of the beautiful square. Mysterious ghosts seem to be wandering around Piazza Navona and along the surrounding streets. Following our tour, we will visit Campo de’ Fiori, another famous square in Rome that has an interesting story to tell of a philosopher condemned at the stake by the Church of Rome in 1600.
